iheartfaces' May challenge, in honor of Mother's Day, is "Hey Girl!". Below is my self-portrait entry! (click on to enlarge) I needed a headshot for a website where I'm a contributing writer. I had planned to take it that afternoon after running errands that morning. Until I looked out the window just in time to see the sky burst open dripping nourishment. I quickly whipped open all the curtains, set my tripod up in front of a large 3-piece window and grabbed my remote.
